On Friday 19, Bit4id attended as a sponsor the 15th DevDay Napoli, the appointment focused on Resilient API Design.
During the meeting Vincenzo Chianese, an Italian developer specialized in WebAPI and user interface, explained how to migrate a monolithic application to microservices with his speech titled “Building Resilient Microservice APIs with REST and API Gateway”.
After an intro about architectural styles and few challenges of the migration from a monolithic application to microservices, Chianese showed how to succeed using REST and API Gateway, without compromising the integration with existing clients.
The community met at the Re.work, coworking space in the Centro Direzionale in Naples, gathering many lovers and experts of software development.
