The first 2019 YouTube Academy promoted by ADCI and Google starts in Naples at the DIGITA Academy.

Yesterday, 1 April 2019, the first YouTube Academy took place in Naples. The workshop helps creative talents, agencies and students to discover the latest trends and features of the platform. With YouTube, users can produce contents to learn, innovate and take part in any kind of activity. Second largest search engine in the world with almost 2 billion logged in users per month, the platform has an enormous potential for creativity and business.

Organized by ADCI (Art Directors Club Italiano) and Google, the workshop took place from 5 to 7.30 pm at the DIGITA Academy, in Naples.

After the speech by Antonio Pescapè, DIGITA Director and professor at the University of Naples Federico II, Carla Leveratto and Giacomo Zanni (Google) showed several examples of best practices, updated data and news about the new tools.

The Italian group of videomakers called TheJackal took part in the event to report their experience: the young team started with YouTube and now has become a video production company working with important brands. Simone Ruzzo and Alfredo Felco explained that their funny videos on YouTube became a great business opportunity and that behind each production there is a hard work including brainstorming, storyboard and editing. Storytelling is one of the main techniques TheJackal use to create new promotional campaigns for their clients.
