MADRID – The XIII edition of the CERES Days has successfully ended. The Minister of Justice, D. Rafael Catalá Polo, opened the event on Wednesday 7 February at the Fabrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre – Real Casa de la Moneda, in Madrid.

More than 50 exhibitors, 9 round tables and 13 speakers were there for two days focused on the Transformation of Administrations. Delegates of Public Administration, multi-sectorial companies, producers, e-services providers and universities met to discuss about real situations, practical cases and new challenges. Bit4id attended as exhibitor and presented its solutions and projects connected with digital identity.

This edition gave voce and visibility to all the actors involved in the Digital Transformation of Administrations. During the event, they discussed the current digital strategies and all the problems and challenges that institutions and companies face every day to meet the requirements of a sustainable electronic Administration.

All the participants unanimously highlighted the necessity to guarantee security and interoperability, going beyond boundaries and looking at the European context of the Single Digital Market. To let technological progress keep improving, there is the need of a close collaboration between the public and private sectors. Carlos Maza, delegate of the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, claimed: “Digital Transformation has come to stay and it involves continuous adjustment”.
